    My story is virtually identical to Matthews. I ordered some table decorations, realised I had given them the wrong postcode (had just moved house and the wedding plans were playing havoc with my brain!) and tried to email to sort it out. Email bounced. Called the number, was told they had a different email address and should send the query there. Sent another email to the new address, no reply. Sent another, still no reply. Phoned again, phone is cut off. In the end I put in a claim through Paypal and got a full refund as surprise surprise they didn't respond to Paypal's emails either. Total con merchants, would have lost out on 60 quid if it weren't for Paypal's guarantees. Steer well clear!

    bought: 1 x ring cushion, 2 x flower girl baskets
    i wish i had read these reviews before i bouht anything from this site!!! i ordered 2 flower girl baskets and a matching ring cushion in september. i recieved a package 6 weeks later with only 1 flowergirl basket and 1 ring cushion. i sent in total 6 emails, and have had no reply. i called the number stated on the website and was told that i i fif not hear back from them within 1 week i had to phone them back and chase them..huh?! i called them again, and they told me to emial their head office, as the email adress had changed. i did this...still no reply. i called again and the phone line has been cut off. i paid £25 for this basket and does not look like i am ever going to get to the bottom of this. now when i try to find the website i cannot seem to come accross it! Planning a wedding is stressful enough without this, esp when you work full time buying on line is such a goos solution...untill you come across this!!!!!

    At the beginning of November 2007 I ordered some bunches of silk flowers from this website to use in bouquets for my wedding. The delivery date came and went and I received nothing, so at the beginning of December I attempted to email them to ask for an update. My emails were all returned as undeliverable.

    I found the phone number, and attempted to call them. The phone line has been cut off.

    The website has now gone offline, although they are still showing as trading according to Companies House.

    I have not received a thing, and payment was taken from my account on order.

    I would have marked them as zero on all counts below, but I can only go as low as 1.

    If this site or any variant of it ever shows up again DO NOT USE IT.

    bought: TRIED to buy a guest book pen.
    I wish I had seen this site prior to ordering from this company.

    On 30th August my fiancee & I ordered the ideal guest book pen for our wedding next year. I'm glad we ordered over a year in advance because as of today (11 December) we have heard NOTHING.

    We have tried emailing and calling several times.
    We noticed that the email address generated by the Contact Us link is spelt incorrectly.
    Upon telephoning (a few months ago) we were told that the company's IT systems had experienced a virus and they were still recovering, but the lady would look into our query. No response forthcoming.
    She also advised us of a new email address we could try - when we did, it bounced back as unrecognised.
    Finally, upon calling their 0844 contact number last night a recorded message said something like "This account has been closed. If you are the account holder, please contact (service provider name) as soon as possible".

    They've gone bust, haven't they? We'll never see our £13 again (not much, but it's the principle of the thing, not to mention the inconvenience). I notice the website is still up and, apparently, running.

    I wish these ratings went to zero.

    SHUT THEM DOWN, I say. Cowboys.

    I ordered items on 20th August, despatch date was 17th September. I know that there is a postal strike, but I still have not received my items. After numerous emails and phone calls I am now at a loss at what to do. Definately not recommended.

    I would anyone who is planning a special event such as wedding to avoid using this site!

    I recently got married and ordered various items from various sites. I was generally pleased with the ease of finding items that coordinated with my colour scheme and the delivery. However, I was disappointed with Wedding Bitz R Us on several levels.

    Initially I ordered personalised napkins that took approximately 8-10 weeks to arrive. I had plenty of time at that stage so was not concerned but felt that this was very slow in comparison to other sites that had delivered both standard and personalised items much quicker. Undeterred, I then ordered another box of personalised napkins and 2 matching flower girl baskets (for which I paid £25 each - they were perfect for my wedding theme). Again, I waited 8 weeks for delivery and by the time they arrived, I had just over 4 weeks to go...and one of my baskets was missing.

    At that stage, the company declared on their site that they have no telephone contact number (I have noticed that they have a number now) so I e-mailed them pointing out that one basket was missing and I was concerned that with the delivery being so slow, I wouldn't receive it in time. They e-mailed back a week and a half later (after another e-mail from me) and explained that the supplier had failed to deliver the item to them but they would rush it to me. I remained concerned though - quite rightly it would seem!!!

    Anyway, to cut a long story short, I continued to e-mail and mostly got no response. The responses that I did receive were brief and making the same lame promises. I then got an e-mail from them 3 days before my wedding saying that I was not going to get my basket as the supplier couldn't deliver to them in time. As I'm sure can be appreciated, I was furious and e-mailed saying that I wanted a refund, would return the basket that I did have as I had no use for one (I had 2 flowergirls) and asking for the name and number of a manager that I could discuss my concerns with. I never recieved a response. That was over 4 weeks ago now.

    I therefore conclude that not only is this site very slow (not good for wedding planning) and not actually able to deliver what has been paid for, but I am led to believe that they couldn't care less about their customers and can't actually be bothered to respond to customer enquiries. I sent an official letter of complaint - guess what? Yup, no response. I would urge all brides, grooms or general party-planners to avoid this site at all costs. They are slow and do not care about their customers. And trying to contact them is futile.
