     I recently ordered 10 items costing £100 approx. The Company charged my credit card account immediately even though they did not have stock. I was told I would have to wait 'a few days'. I cancelled the order after a couple of weeks . I dd not receive replies to my emails regarding a refund and advised my credit card company about the problem. I had to wait another 4 weeks for a refund.

    I believe this might be the way this Company finances its operations offering competitive prices to get the orders and making use of the money it obtains from orders which will not be fulfilled.

    I will not be using them again and would not recommend them.

    I do suffered at the hands of positive health shop and never received my goods. They never answer their phones and after their first email assuring me that the goods would be dispatched they never emailed again despite my numerous queries.

    I have made a complaint to the Office of Fair trading. I encourage others to do the same. The more that complain the more likely an investigation will take place.

    Absolutely dreadful - what more can I say? I only wish that I had read the reviews of this company prior to ordering. I have been more than patient, believing that my items were not received in to stock; now no reply to Emails, calls, etc.. I doubt if I'll receive a refund (let alone the goods!), so over to my credit card company now. Good luck, your experience may be better than mine - I have never written a review before, but this company needs to be out of business.

     Have been trying to have an incorrectly sent item replaced since October. After two emails I received one email claiming that it had been despatched. Followed with nine more emails and three attempts at phoning - no answer. Had used them for a good while, and they had been reliable. But this is very annoying and disappointing.

     I cannot recommend them. I placed an order in August 2009. I live in Germany and only one of my five items arrived. At first they were very helpful however they suddenly ignored my emails. I sent copies of all my email by registered post in April 2010 - no reply. I recently sent another batch of email. All of them ignored. I have lost about €60+ and would unfortunately warn everyone to stay away from this firm.

     I ordered some vitamins for my family for a holiday we are taking in Thailand. I phoned up and spoke to a man who gave very good advice and did not try and sell anything which was refreshing! In the end I bought Travla Probiotics and some MultiVits. I ordered on Monday afternoon and they arrived Weds morning with the post. I think thats pretty good. Although there seem to be quite a few different opinions on this review site, my experience of PH was good and I would be more than happy to go back and shop again.

     Overall, I would like to recommend The Positive Health Shop. Delivery took a little longer than expected but they kept me informed about the product being short at the manufacturer. I was attracted to the site for the good prices listed on Google and was pleasantly surprised by the follow up phone call as well as the knowledge and politeness of the chap I spoke to when I asked about problems I had had with taking vitamins in the past. All in all a good all round service and I would use them again.

     My wife and I bought all the supplements recommended from our nutritionist at this one shop. Then I stumbled across these last few reviews and started to panic. But as it happens the order arrived the next day by Special Delivery (upgraded free as we didn't order that) and there was a 'welcome upgrade' to the sizes of four of the supplements. So, whilst clearly below there are some unhappy shoppers, my wife and I think the service and prices were first rate and we would use positi vehealth again

     I am writing from Athens, Greece... I had placed an order with this on line stores and sometimes I had problems, sometimes I didn't. I foolishly placed an order again almost two months ago, they deducted a considerable amount of money from my credit card, they kept saying there were waiting for a vitamin supplement to be back in stock, and then supposedly sent me the package. It's been more than a month now and have not received anything. My e-mails remain answered, my phone calls the same. I have contacted consumer direct and they advised me to write a latter but , from your comments, I realize that I may never get my money back. Hard-earned money...I think I'll go crazy...

     I really wish i had seen this post before i had purchased anything. Unfortunately i have ordered from them and parted ways with 110 AUD. I have this gut wrenching feeling i have lost that money and wont be getting my products. I have tried to email them with no answer. it's been 3 weeks. I have purchased a number of things online over the years, of course it's not always smooth sailing but when i have come across a problem the business on the other end is willing to help. The fact that they wont return my email is a poor sign of customer service and a poor reflection on their business values. NOT RECOMENDED. Does anyone have any advise on what i can do?

     Positive Health Shop (PHS)? I suggest you NEVER ORDER from PHS! If you do order from them, you will lose your money, without getting anything in return!
    PHS is a huge disappointment. Like so many others on this board, I foolishly sent approx. £50 of my hard earned money to PHS. For three weeks I'm waiting for my goods, or my money back. I don't think PHS ever dispatched the goods to me. I also don't think PHS will ever refund my money.
    Red flag number 1 is their Post Office Box address.
    Red flag number 2 is their unwillingness to communicate. I mean, you as a customer can't even communicate with them!
    Red flag number 3 is, on their chat line, they hang up on you at the drop of a hat. And then they will refuse to reconnect.
    Red flag number 4 is their low-low prices and free deliveries, because -- unless PHS is unscrupulous -- and probably they are -- they cannot stay in business.
    Red flag number 5 is that, in my experience, the people who work at PHS are negative and also hypersensitive. This means that, if you say anything that can they, in their infinite wisdom, consider negative -- even if you meant to HELP them not hurt them -- they will take your money, and then and only then will stop communicating with you!
    Red flag number 6 is, they don't care if they owe you money! Money or no money, they simply stop answering their phones and your emails!
    My suspicion is that my order was never dispatched.
    My suspicion is that they keep giving me false and misleading information.
    I suggest, in your own interest, you NEVER ORDER anything from them! Because, if you do order from them, you will lose your money, without getting any goods in return!

     I placed an order for some vitamins with this Supplier on 11/9/2010 the money was deducted from my credit card on that date.I have not received the product and it is now 13/10/10. I have emailed them several times in the intervening period and had several promises none of which were honoured.
    I would definitely advise anyone thinking of placing an order with them NOT to do so as they will probably get "the same run a round" I am getting

    THEY ARE A RIP OFF!! I placed a order last july 2009. never recieved it.web site stated i would recive it in 2 days after 5 days i i contacted them by phone was told it wasnt in stock i and that a email had been sent to inform me but i had not recieved no email i told the guy i had not recieved any emails so he agreed to give me a refund. which i have not recived til this day. two months later i phoned them asking why I had not a recieved a refund i was told my item had been dispatched. i reminded him that a refund had been agreed so why had they dispatched my cancelled order he told me that i should have recieved it by now but as i had not it will be sent back to them so when they recieve it back i wil get my money back. i did recive a email saying my credit card had expired so they couldnt do the refund either i could give them a credit card no or my address so they could post a cheque. As i didnt trust them anymore i emailed my address. still no refund. As they hardly ever answer the phone i got tired of leavin messages I left a message saying that I will contact trading standards. i got a call back straight away. Iwas told that they were unable to do the refund because my card had expired so told him that i had sent a email requesting the refund by cheque I was told that they would never sent such a email as they dont do cheques. I told him that i had the email and I could sent it to him if he wanted. he agreed to give me a refund staight away and even gave me a refrence number. im still waiting I have not recived it. The medicine was for my mum who has just been dignosed with terminal cancer.I orded from this site because of the quick delivery promise. i told them my situation. But still have been messed about. That was the worst time of my life .I lost my mum two half months later. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

     I also read the reviews below but decided to give PHS the benefit of the doubt (some of the reviews, especially the last one seem a bit 'sour grapes' to me). Anyway, I'm glad I did. I ordered on a Sunday night and there were 13 items in total on the order, 12 of which arrived on Tuesday and the other one on Wednesday and that was the freepost service! I saved using multibuys, buy one get one free and 3 for 2 - there were lots of discounts and promotions, (perhaps too many for a premium site would be my only little niggle) overall on a 90 quid+ order I saved £27+. Result. I like this shop. I recommend them and don't be put off by the couple of whingers below. Great service, excellent range and fast delivery too!

     I used to be a regular customer of theirs...and I am sorry to say not anymore....They have been giving me the running around over my latest order...I havent received it and they aren't forthcoming with either a replacement or a refund....and continue to give me excuse after excuse...I won't be ordering from them again..and see my money at a loss...I wished I had found these reviews earlier I might just have thought twice about still using them..It seems here you either get great service or you get really stung ! Nothing in the middle...This company is supposed to be promoting health...and instead they give stress and take your money...Keep your blood pressure down and pass on them.

     I was really happy to receive double the quantity of two of the vitamin products I bought from PHS - they said it was a 'free upgrade as a new customer'. I buy from lots of different internet health sites and this is the first one that has given me somthing free. Well done PHS. I only wish more shops treated their customers like that. I would like to send this review and recommend this shop 100% for great service!

     I like the Positive Health Shop. on the five occasions we have bought from them, they have always offered us good service, advice and products. On our last order, we ordered in the UK and then went on holiday to Spain and the PHS sent it on ahead so it arrived just a day or so after us...that's impressive I think. Recommended.

    Hi. I bought Lavera, Green People and Weleda products as gifts for Christmas and they arrived within 2 days and the PHS upgraded the postage free of charge so that I would get the order before Christmas. That's good service I would say and I would recommend this shop.

     I dont really send reviews but felt that there seems to be a really bad vibe for this shop on this site so I thought I would comment as my experience was completely different.

    I needed a product, that I was finding difficult to get. I ordered from several other places all who said they had it in stock and then when I made the order, it was suddenly not in stock (for the record... Nutriglow.co.uk). Anyway, I ended up ringing this company, spoke to a REALLY jolly and knowledgeable girl who actually checked stock there and then (I think she actually ran downstairs to look on the shelf). Then, when she found out I was a new customer, she gave me a 10% into discount and bumped the postage to next day at no extra charge... I was impressed. All in all I saved about £8!!!

    That was four o'clock Monday and the goods arrived Tuesday Morning. BRILLIANT SERVICE...highly recommended and a very helpful, friendly telephone service too!
