    bought: DIX1101737124 Samsung Plasma 3D HDTV
    My set went faulty on the 28th day after it was delivered as a Christmas present (and so 21 days after Christmas) and I reported it the very next day as it went faulty on a Sunday. I was initially offered a replacement as it was within the appropriate period but 2 days later this was cancelled and now I have to wait for it to be taken away for at least 7 days for repair. It has taken a week to reach this stage and so far this collection hasn't even been arranged. Is this an improvement in Dixons after sales service?

    bought: Panasonic Combination Microwave Oven NN-CF778SBPQ
    After sales service is disgraceful. I have requested a refund on a faulty appliance and received an email saying the item will be collected from me via. DHL on Monday, between 9am and 5pm. It was not collected. I phoned them again today (twice) and was told it would definitely be collected today although they could not give me a DHL collection reference. It was not collected a second time. I am now going to phone my credit card company to see if I can get a refund from them, as Dixons won't refund unless they have received the damaged item at their depot.

    This experience has put me off buying anything else online.

    bought: a Philips kettle. DIX1000635004 was the order number.
    How do you get Dixons on line to take back faulty goods under warranty? I have tried and tried and tried. They just send computer generated e-mails saying that it would be good to talk.

    What a joke DIXONS are, I first checked with them that the plasma TV I wanted was in stock and was told yes so I ordered online from there web site and got a confirmation Email stating my order would be delivered 14 days latter, after waiting 13 days I received another Email saying the TV I ordered was out of stock and they would now deliver in 28 days time, I Telephoned them to cancel the order and after being on hold for 23 minutes was told that they have a backlog waiting for refunds and it may take up to 14 days before being credited back to my account

    Ordered a small fridge, good price, same product as else where, offered collection of the old appliance for a samll fee. Promising. Lots of communication, a 4 hour booking slot, a warning to defrost the old fridge.

    half an hour before the end of the delivery schedule the driver called to say he was too busy and not coming, and reeled off the problems with his line management.

    I am happy to pay to not use dixons

    bought: A Phillips cinema sound system
    The customer service is INCREDIBLY BAD.

    First, I had to use on 0844 number which costs lots. Put on hold fpr 23 mins.

    Second - the item was not collected for 4 days.

    Third - the repair company too SIX WEEKS to "repair" the item. There was no communication to me during that time.

    Fourth - when I complained about the length of time it was taking to repair my item, I was told that "it's a big company". That's their excuse????

    Fifth - the item was returned still faulty!

    Sixth - another 19 mins on hold for customer services....

    Guess what company I shall not be using again.

    You know things are bad when you have to show the "assistant" how the DVD player works. Consistently terrible service and poor after-sales customer care form ALL the Dixons group (PC Workd especially)

    bought a new television on ere a few weeks back. The tele got delivered on time, but shipping was a smooth £50. Enough to make you go down the shop n pick one up! Customer service was a let down tho. Staff wouldn\'t answer me emails, and eventually resorted to playing games with me by circulating by emails around the staff room. If found this very unprofessional and quite upsetting.

    However, I did get what I went there for. Will prob choose another site next time with better service tho.
