    Well, a refund was authorised on feb 10th and I was told it would be in my account in 5 working days....still nothing, so today I call them and I'm told they need authorisation AGAIN and to wait a further 10 working days....how may lots of 10 & 5 working days do they need to pay me back and how many authorisations do they need??. Frustrated is an understatement. I have asked for compensation too but they choose to ignore that, MB have failed to refund my delivery cost despite my emails requesting it!!! Seriously seriously angry with all of this.

    I ordered 2 mattresses in October and they never arrived. All emails to MB have been ignored since December. The only time MB replied was when I threatened to report the matter to Trading Standards if I did not receive a refund. My delivery charges were refunded last week but Groupon are dragging their heels over my request for a refund of £300. I wont be taken in again by a Groupon offer that seems too good to be true. Groupon should at least check that the companies they deal with are reputable

    I too have been waiting since October. Bought fleece wraps- absolute rubbish so returned. No acknowledgement or refund. I'm £15 down plus £2.95 postage. Not exaclty comperent or honest are they?

    How mad am I, Like the rest of you I ordered in October too and still have nothing, I was promised a refund 3 weeks ago from Groupon and I'm now told by ANOTHER groupon advisor that I cant have it as my goods have been shipped. Total and utter rubbish as the courier company TNT (I thought it was supposed to be city link) have no idea as Groupon didnt even give me a consignment number. I'm about to lose the plot with someone.

    Same issues since Oct.

    Just had refund agreed from Groupon, plus a goodwill credit from Groupn, to cover postage.

    The company still get away with £15.

    This is the 3rd bad experence I have had with Groupon.

    Why don't they take more of a proactive approach and protect their customers and their own name by publically taking legal action against their suppliers who are dragging the "Groupon brand" past words like Scam, con, fraud, racket, etc?

    If the suppliers can't confirm they have stocks in hand for large order quantities, the vouchers should be capped to what stock they do carry.

    If they say it will take 2 weeks delivery, then they can meet that time frame from stock. Why don't groupon enforce this as a term?

    Money over customer care?

    Are they out of control in the UK?

    Where's BBC Watch Dogs special report here?

    I also ordered a mattress via Groupon last October and never got it! I received a call last Monday informing me of delivery the next day...gues what? They didn't show up! I rang the courier with the 4 digit tracking number only to find out firstly, that I am nowhere on their records and secondly, their tracking numbers have 8 digits! CRAP COMPANY!!!!

    My experience with MatchingBedrooms has been nothing short of a nightmare. These people have no conscience. I ordered a Mattress through Groupon last October as a Christmas present, needless to say I never got it.     Hi all,

    I am in the same boat we you are. My order was placed via groupon. 21 days delivery was said on the voucher, so I called the vendor directly to find out where my order is. The guy answering the phone gave me different answers. They told me it was shipped via citylink, and then was shipping via parcelforce, and then anoother 10 days, another 14 days...so I finally wrote to groupon to complain about it. They did reply and they even told me everything will be dispatched by 8/1. However, still nothing arrived. What annoys most is I have been asking for refund of product price and also freight which hasn't happened for 3 months. Everytime I wrote to groupon, different customer service asked me the same question...what is order no. , when do I place it? can't they just read down emails? The mattress was bought for the new place I was moving in, so we did sleep on floor for good two weeks before giving it up and go somewhere to buy a mattress. I will never order from this vendor again. Very frustrating and disappointing. Now I just want my money back!

    Ordered through groupon in November and have still received nothing from this disgrace of a company. Groupon are not much better and I'm getting nowhere fast. Matching Bedrooms wont even reply to my emails, groupon at least reply but keep saying my order will be dispatched in the next batch but nothing ever changes to my order on the website and nothing ever arrives. Surely what is happening is bordering on illegal? Groupon, me and you are finished.

    as with all previous comments this company are appalling. has taken 3 moths for delivery and only because I hassles them pretty much every day! the mattress arrived today and I am slightly nervous about opening it! it's rolled up??? how does that work??? waste of money sadly! and the worst customer service ive had in a long time. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

    I did receive a mattress but it was the wrong one. Funnily enough I cannot get any response from the company and when I try to enter my details on the returns page of their webiste it does not recognise them. So left with duff mattress that I cannot use.

    Will never use them, or Groupon again as their customer service is nearly as bad.

    I requested a refund on 21/12/2011 when I has similar problems to everyone else. credit card people now applying pressure. wont be using either company again. duff quality by the sounds and duff service. still awaiting refund as of today 19/1/2012

    i received a letter from matercard today telling me that the refund to my card has been credited.
    Groupon will not refund unless you involve the credit card company. the delivery charge can be reversed without a problem by the credit card company

    maybe a bit of organisation to begin with might help but happy with the mattress at least!

    Have just read these reviews and it makes me feel better in some ways as i feel exactly the same as everyone else. What a shower. Eventually I complained via email to groupon who had the cheek to ask for an evaluation of their service before doing anything. They have taken both my money and the delivery charge from my account since the end of Oct. We must all complain to try to get our money back or at least highlight this scam. i agree that Groupon are not blameless and should be penailised in some way. How can we get our money back?
    Has anyone tried through their credit card?

    bought: Nothing yet, but I'm trying to get the mattress I paid for delivered
    I ordered my Groupon Voucher on 20th October and ordered my mattress from Matching Bedrooms on 23rd October.
    Since then, despite several calls and emails I have only had an email on 5th December promising delivery within 7-10 days.
    Groupon are equally culpable - they are still offering new deals with Matching Bedrooms despite all the complaints.
    I would suggest the following: -
    1. Contact Birmingham Trading Standards on 0121 303 6031. This company is based in Birmingham and they are responsible for ensuring they are not ripping customers off
    2. Contact Watchdog via their bbc website and report the same
    3. Contact Consumer Direct on 08454 040506 and report the scam
    4. Write to Groupon and give them 21 days to deliver the mattress
    5. Write to Matching Bedrooms and give them the same deadline
    6. If they do not deliver in 21 days, issue a claim through the small claims court for the costs you have incurred plus the cost to supply an equivalent mattress via the high street (Please note you do not have to accept a refund, but can insist they honour the original contract)
    7. Request a refund from your Credit Card/Debit Card supplier
    I have done the above. If anyone commences a small claim please post details here so we can coordinate efforts

    Think about it...If 5000 people paid £179 for a Mattress, this gang have got away with £895,000. After all this time, you shouldn't be phoning them.. you should be phoning Trading Standards, Directgov Consumer services, the press and the Police!
    The government service Consumer Direct offers advice on 08454 04 05 06 or via the Directgov website.
    The ASA is also investigating Groupon. Write to them.
    If you go to Unit 2, Mainstream Way (see google earth!), I very much doubt if anyone there has even heard of these matching bedroom cowboys... Please have a look if you live in Brum! It looks like we've all been had... but we must get together on facebook to sort something out!! Happy Christmas???

    Same as everyone below - a disgusting company to deal with and they are making Groupon look rubbish. Never again will I buy anything else from Groupon because of this whole experience. This matteress will never turn up no matter what they tell you. Customer service!!! I'd sooner pull my own teeth out!!!! Shame a zero rating cant be given out as a rating of one is way too high for this bunch of lying morons!

    I think we should all decend upon where they are in Birmingham all at the same time and see what happens. Anyone interested?

    Wish I had read these reviews before buying a mattress from them, waiting 6 weeks. when I e mailed them to cancel, they sent me a tracking no for delivery yesterday, took a day off work suprise surprise no mattress, when i rang city Link they had not had instructions to collect,matching bedrooms had just asked for some tracking nos, so Groupon will not give me a refund cos M B say my mattress is out for delivery,even tho its not. I cant buy one from anywhere else incase it turns up. I am thoroughly fed up with the whole thing, spent £175 and got nothing. Dont use this company!!
