     They have basically stolen £375 form me I bought an SLR. I ordered it on the 11th of Jn. I have sent many many emails with NO replys, I have called once and the woman said that they were putting a new payment system in an that is why its being delayed. Iv had several online chats requesting my money back but they refuse and say it will arrive in a week or two-"It will surely arrive in two weeks" This is the same person answering every time as I have read somewhere else that this is what she said to them. Unfortunately we deposited the money into their bank account via bank transfer. Does anyone know how I can get my money back or who to call!? Also anyone who says that they had a good service from them is probably someone form EM lying. Iv found on another website that they are from pakistan, unlikely that someone from pakistan would buy a camera from uk!

     I have ordered 2 cameras from this damn website and only after paying the money thru wire transfer, they completely disappeared!! I have called UK trading standards and as well as IC3 to report their wrongdoings. I'm not sure how many people have reported them but at least now the website is being suspended. But gosh, can anyone give me any advice on how to claim my money back as it is quite a large amount of money. Anyone could help would be much appreciated.

     Electronicmegastore is a fraudulent operator. They take payments for goods they never send and do not make refunds.

    The Metropolitan Police have investigated their current address in Docklands London and confirm that there is no business there by that name and that it is a suite of offices, no more.

    Also, their website is routed via a proxy in Chicago, singlehop.com. They are probably legit but unaware of the activities of the fraudsters.

    I received a call supposedly from Manchester (their previous address) but my caller display showed the call as being 'international' - the caller had a far eastern accent.

    Do not order anything from this company or send them any money - you will likely never see it again or your goods.

     We ordered a camera before Christmas and have been told numerous times that it has been dispatched. Needless to say we have not received it. We have been requesting a full refund since 5th January and we have still not received this either. They asked for our bank details to send us a refund, but we are advised by our own bank that if they took the money out, then they will have our details on record and we do not need to give them the details again. THE ADDRESS ON THEIR WEBSITE HAS BEEN CHANGED - IT IS A MAILING ACCOMMODATION ADDRESS ONLY - EM ARE NOT ACTUALLY THERE.

    I would like to encourage all people who have lost money through this apparent scam to contact the government's Consumer Direct service on 08454 040506. If a significant number of people have had problems with this company operating illegally, then UK Trading Standards will investigate and potentially prosecute to close them down.

     I am one of many of you who have been scammed by electronic megastore (EM). I "bought" a camera before Christmas but it has never been delivered. I have not receieved a refund despite many promises from EM. I have contacted Safebuy and have been told that EM is using the logo illegally. I have contacted ISIS and you will now see an UNAUTHORISED logo on the EM site. I intend to spread the word about electronic megastore's activities through social networking sites such as Facebook to ensure that others are not scammed in the same way. Meanwhile I have set up an email account electronicmegastorecomplaints@googlemail.com . Let's use the power of social networking to STOP this company scamming anyone else. email me at the googlemail address.

     Bad, bad, bad - Avoid at all costs.
    Ordered camera lense early December for Christmas - Still had not received item by 15th Jan. Each time I call customer services (India based) I am told that it should be with me within 5 days, but it never arrives. Have asked for a refund, to be told that they have technical difficulties with their system. After persistence, they have requested for my Paypal or Bank account details even though I paid by credit card. I consider their behaviour very suspicious, therefore declined to provide the additional information as they already have the Card details. I have informed my financial institution of this company.

    I wish I had read these reviews before doing business with this company; I strongly recommend you avoid.

     Similar bad experience underway, paid for mobile phone (an Xmas present) early December, no sign of goods, asked for refund 23 Dec as too late for Xmas present, and had to buy another, still waiting, they say they have a problem with credit card refunds, want to refund via Paypal, but cannot explain delays, or why they just ignore emails or voicemails - all very fishy, smells of company about to go bust. Thankfully paid by credit card, so can claim against my bank... Their email strapline is humourous - 'fast, reliable, direct' I don't think so....
