I am one of many of you who have been scammed by electronic megastore (EM). I "bought" a camera before Christmas but it has never been delivered. I have not receieved a refund despite many promises from EM. I have contacted Safebuy and have been told that EM is using the logo illegally. I have contacted ISIS and you will now see an UNAUTHORISED logo on the EM site. I intend to spread the word about electronic megastore's activities through social networking sites such as Facebook to ensure that others are not scammed in the same way. Meanwhile I have set up an email account electronicmegastorecomplaints@googlemail.com . Let's use the power of social networking to STOP this company scamming anyone else. email me at the googlemail address.

Bad, bad, bad - Avoid at all costs.
Ordered camera lense early December for Christmas - Still had not received item by 15th Jan. Each time I call customer services (India based) I am told that it should be with me within 5 days, but it never arrives. Have asked for a refund, to be told that they have technical difficulties with their system. After persistence, they have requested for my Paypal or Bank account details even though I paid by credit card. I consider their behaviour very suspicious, therefore declined to provide the additional information as they already have the Card details. I have informed my financial institution of this company.
I wish I had read these reviews before doing business with this company; I strongly recommend you avoid.

Similar bad experience underway, paid for mobile phone (an Xmas present) early December, no sign of goods, asked for refund 23 Dec as too late for Xmas present, and had to buy another, still waiting, they say they have a problem with credit card refunds, want to refund via Paypal, but cannot explain delays, or why they just ignore emails or voicemails - all very fishy, smells of company about to go bust. Thankfully paid by credit card, so can claim against my bank... Their email strapline is humourous - 'fast, reliable, direct' I don't think so....

I have at last received the item i ordered 17 days ago !! My online account was never changed from 'inpacking awaiting despatch' . Numerous on line chats and phone call and evey answer was a lie.....although said to be packing they asked if I would accept a different colour !! Yes it arrived the day before xmas eve...needless to say an alternate present had been purchased ! However they DID deliver...so customer service 0 not 1 and /stock rating 0 / delivery 0 not 1. But I did receive the item....xmas was not the problem...lack of honest feedback was.

Hi everybody.I don't get the bad reviews ?...i am very pleased to buy the Tamron 28-200mm lens from Electronic megastore is online store having lowest prices in UK for their photographic equipments....Also very good customer service...
I placed my order on previous Monday and got my tamron lens on the next day...Great delivering service...Now i can use my Nikon DSLR camera in combination with this tamron lens....
Because of this great service from Electronic megastore, I can take pictures with much comfort and ease....

My item came today and is exactly what I wanted. For the price it is an absolute bargain. I have somewhat changed my opinion now. The only problem I have is that they told me it was dispatched when it wasn't and speaking to the customer services and reading things on the internet lead me to believe it was a scam. However the phone was always answered and my emails were replied to within 24hours as promised. Maybe the company is just snowed under due to Xmas? If so personally I would rather they told me. I placed my order on the 28th of Nov and my order no was 935. Some people now are quoting numbers around 22000 which is a lot of orders! If anyone doubts the authenticity of this my tracking number was 428667248993 through fedex. Overall I am delighted with my item and this somewhat over-shadows the service which promised more than it delivered but in my experience this site is definitely not a scam
