    Just received the shoes I ordered, well within the time stated. Only trouble is they were with a neighbour for 4 days! the problem with ALDO is that they don't give you a proper 18 character shipping number for UPS so you have to phone canada for one which can be a bit of a pain.

    I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from AldoShoes.com. I ordered a pair of shoes that I hoped to wear for my wedding but when they arrived they didn't go with my dress so I decided to return them. They were sent back on 13th Jan and I have confirmation from UPS that they were delivered on 14th Jan. I am still waiting for a refund 5 weeks later.
    They are impossible to get hold of. I have emailed several time and the only response I have had is that they havn't had notification from the warehouse that the order has been received so aren't going to do anything. I have forwarded them my proof of delivery from UPS and still notthing.
    I've tried going through one of their stores but they are really unhelpful and one girl was quite rude.
    I have called my credit card company today and they are going to put the payment under dispute which will mean I don't accrue interest on this while it is being processed and that they will try and help me recover the money - I would recommend anyone else that is waiting for a refund and paid on credit card do the same.
    I won't ever buy from them again

    Great shop, great Shoes - AWFUL ONLINE STORE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM ALDO!
    I live in the UK, ordered some boots, they weren't suitable. I then had to go through a very complicated UPS process to return them (despite the website saying it is easy) and after a week had heard nothing back from them. Tried calling, but their customer service is in Canada so have to call in CANADIAN opening times - there is NO UK customer service!

    I tried emailing and got NO response.

    Eventually got through to the phone number one evening and sat on hold for about 15 minutes and got no answer. was loathe to try this again as i will likely be billed for this as its in Canada.

    I sent my return back on 27th January, it took Aldo until the 13th february to give me ANY sort of response - 2 and a half weeks. I eventually received an email saying that i'll be refunded.

    The boots cost me £81 - this is not the sort of money i can afford to wait over 3 weeks for. For a national company with stores all across the UK, i find their customer service appalling and will not be shopping with them in future.

    I bought 2 pairs of boots from Aldo online. Despite filtering the website for my size, with the first pair they waited 10 days to inform me they did not have my size. Disappointing, and would stop me using the website going forward as obviously the stock is not accurately reflected on the website. The second pair were an absolute nightmare. They advised me that UPS would be delivering the boots at last, 3 weeks after I bought them. I waited and no boots arrived. After a week nothing had still arrived. I tried e-mailing them 10 times but no one got back to me. The reference number for UPS they gave me was not valid. I tried ringing Aldo's customer services but after 45mins on hold gave up twice, i finally got through on the third attempt to be told they had delivered them to a store in a different county instead, as UPS did not have my correct address. My address was correct on the confirmation e-mail so if that was true, then Aldo gave them my incorrect address. At this stage they offered for me to collect them from the store, but it was miles away. I asked for a refund and was advised I would see it across my account in 10 business days. After 12 days I rang them today to be advised that it still had not been processed internally, and would be shortly, and then I would receive my fund in a further 3-5 working days. So I will not receive my money back for over a month from the time I asked for a refund, and that is if they keep their word today. I have been chasing this order now for over 2 months and I yet to either receive any boots or the money for the 2nd pair. I sincerely regret ever going near their website. They keep using the excuse of 'The Holidays', but I do alot of online shopping and I have not had any of these nightmarish scenarios with other retailers. If you've fallen for a pair of their shoes, do yourself a favour and order them in store. Their online facility is ridiculous

    I am so scared I will never get my money back from these people! I ordered lots of pairs of shoes in the sale - about £290 worth and am only keeping one pair of boots that are 27.99! I have sent them all back on 12th jan 2010 and still have no refund! I have emailed them twice and no reply! I am so concerned because UPS says that they delivered both parcels on 19th Jan!

    I ordered these two days after christmas and am still waiting for a refund - this is a disgrace. My credit card bill will now charge me and I never put things on my credit card so I'm really upset and worried I will never see this money again!

    Ooo I wish I had seen this before I ordered a pair of shoes. Ordered a pair of shoes (xmas eve), to what I thought they looked lovely. When they arrived they were in fact absolutely vile. Sent them back @ the beginning of January for a refund and I am STILL waiting!! I have emailed and have heard nothing! I really want my money back :( . .

    I sent a pair of boots back and am still waiting for a refund three weeks later. I've also emailed them three times and not had any response at all. Disgraceful. I definitely won't be using them again.

    Went to the Aldo store on Oxford Street. They didn't have the boots in my size so they offered to order them for me and told me it would be cheaper this way as I would save the delivery charge. When I checked the prize online again I noticed that I had been charged arpund £15 more in the store. Even if I had paid the £5 delivery charge it would still have been cheaper to order online. I called the store up, was put on hold for ages, called back, was put on hold again. The 3rd time I finally got to speak someone,I was told the store should prize should have been the same than the online prize, but it wasn't. I was also told that I couldn't go to the store and get a refund on the difference but would have to return the ordered ones and then order them again myself online to get the right prize.
    Additionally the delivery period is longer when ordered in store.I also tried to call the customer service number provided on the receipt, but the line was dead. Really bad service

    bought: I tried to buy 2 pairs of boots
    I tried to buy 2 pairs of boots online. When I entered my card details I was told they were incorrect - I then entered them again several times. In the end they said my card was invalid. The next morning my bank phoned to say Aldo had taken £153 from my account twelve times. I spent 2 days e-mailing - no replies. Eventually the money was returned - but they put a block on my card. They suggested that if I still wanted to buy the boots I should contact the Customer Service number. Good news - free number (UK). Bad news - it has an answer machine and never replies to the messages you leave. I have read on other forums that their footwear is shoddy & uncomfortable - so I'm glad they never let me buy any.
