bought: APC UPS 1500 replacement battery.
The worst comapny to deal with. No communication at all. They do not answer the phone and email communicatiion seems to irregular. When I order the battery, it took over a month to deliver it. It the wrong type and I want a refund in full. Even the delivery company is finding it difficult to return the battery back to them as there seems to be no one around at the premises (see google map) during the day!
Not worth doing business with this company! I suggest you go to a proper company and pay the money, at least you will get the right product and customer service when you need it!

Just add my 2 pennies worth, i ordered a incorrect battery for my mobile, it was soon sorted out after a few emails, sent it back and got the correct one, i think they are a easy company to deal with and will do again in the future

I have used battery trader 3 times now over the last 7 or 8 months and was very surprised to see the negative views below, i have had no such problems at all with them, in fact the service has been A1.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
Purchased a battery that was showing as stock only to be told after that it was not stock.
Impossible to talk to via phone and e-mails ignored. I will taking them to court.

Order number 37427 Money taken on 8 May2011 goods never turned up, they do not answer Emails and the phone goes round in a loop I think the whole thing is a con and maybe the positive remarks are by them, the police?trading standards should close them down

This trader is crooked. I paid 135.87 on 22.03.2011 for two batteries and have had no response. When you ring them you get into a circular phone message which advises sending an E mail. Just google this site and see the number of complaints. It is a scam.

Ordered baterry 21/2/2011 order number 36073, they took money £117.78 immediately but still waiting for battery. Numerous e mails saying out of stock, delivery late would come end of March, still waiting. Now not replying to e mails and cannot get any response on phone. asked for a refund today, will I get it, who knows.

I have ordered twice now from batteryTrader , the first time i messed up the order and misread the serial number but it was put right quite quickly without a fuss, and the 2nd time was delivered this week.
When i get back out in the garden this summer i will buy from them a bttery f my hede trimer, to dte i have ben veryhappy with the service and the products and the price is right.

My wife ordered me a couple of power packs for my old impact driver for Christmas, she who must be obeyed not only got the model wrong but the Manufacturer as well, it was nearly 2 months from date of purchase before i knew about the mistake but Batterytrader were helpful and understanding (although because of the length of time they didn’t need to be) and i was able to get them exchanged for the correct ones. I ordered a drill replacement Battery on 28th january to date I have not received it they have sent me two E-mails stating not in stock & on order, I will give them to the end of this month Feb: then demand my money back, as previous customer stated they should not take your money till they can supply goods.

This store sent me the wrong battery, said that it would not refund my postage, eventually agreed to refund normal postage only (i.e. not the extra for recorded delivery), and then didn't refund anything. Very poor service, very poor communication and based on my experience you may not get the battery you wanted.

Battery Trader have just refunded my £92.60 for a battery which they eventually admitted they were not able to supply. I'm feeling a lot less annoyed with the company than I did, but I really do feel they're their own worst enemy. All they need to do, as so many websites do now, is allow the customer to see straightaway whether the item is in stock or not. That saves a great deal of frustration and anger when the item fails to arrive. I had to chase fairly hard for my money back, and I'm still unhappy that they took my money before dispatch of the item, but due credit must be given to them for returning the money once I started to insist on my rights!!!

I do not normally write reviews, good or bad.
Batterytrader.com helped me out of a tight spot, firstly I ordered a chair battery and it was delivered the next morning but i had ordered the wrong one, couple of emails later and they had arranged for a new one.
I am very grateful for the help without the chair i am stuck indoors and would have missed this glorious weather we have had lately, who says that the British Summer non existant.

This is the third time i have bought something from batterytrader since christmas.
I have found the site a little basic but easy to get round.
I have had to return a battery (I ordered the wrong one) and apart from the inconvience of sending it back and getting a RMA there was no issues at all.
I recommend them and will continue using them,

Nothing short of utterly criminal. They took my money straightaway and then failed to deliver the battery, fobbing me off with excuses about late deliveries. No response to endless emails. They are clearly fraudulent and should be exposed for what they are - frauds of the worst kind. AVOID BATTERY TRADER.COM at all costs!!!Bunch of low-life robbers.
