     Just bought my first distance glasses and I can't recommend these people any higher. simply perfect from ordering via the e-mailed updates to delivery. Yes at a very low cost in comparison but all this does is making me upset over the apparently ridicolous margins the high street opticians must have. If you need new glasses, try glasses2you, you will not be disappointed.

     A friend up the road recommended glasses2you. He said you can even try them ouf for a while and if they're not quite right, glasses2you will make the necessary changes. We found the company on the internet and ordered some prescription reading glasses for my wife; paid for them online and duly received them in a few days, here in France FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST of buying prescription specs locally. My wife is very pleased with them. She chose the frames from a good selection.

    I got on to their internet chat and asked a few questions - which were answered quickly and to my satisfaction. Yes, they could re-glaze existing frames - just send them over to England. I did - two pairs, one for varifocals for me, and one pair for distance, for my wife.

    They took ages to arrive in England despite being registered. I emailed to find out whether they had and was kindly told 'don't worry, they often take ages'. So I waited and they both arrived. I paid over the phone and the spex were sent off for reglazing.

    Today we received both pairs of re-glaze spex - which work very well - I have them on now. They cost less than a quarter of what is being charged in our local town and are of equal if not better quality.

    Be careful how you search for glasses2you - there are other near-sounding sites which have been launched by the big specs people. Glasses2you is small, personal and very efficient. We are very pleased with their service and would strongly recommend them, especially to people living in expensive countries.

    Summary: You can even get spex fitted online, with clever use of photos and measurements. Excellent service.

     Having spent a small fortune of reading glasses and recently lost a pair (Dior £400!), I decided to go for glasses on line.

    Glasses2you were one of the first sites I found. I was so impressed by the choice of frames, the price and the ease of actually ordering I didn't bother looking for further sites.

    Only 10 days from when I ordered to when I received my glasses and that is to Greece and including the postal strikes we have been experiencing here!

     Hi All i bought a pair of rimless glasses as bifocals which didn't work for me because i couldn't get the hang of them. The communication was excellent and they chmaged them for me to a pair of distance reactive lenses which were perfect or wouild be if my eyes weren't so mypoic! I recently ordered two more pairs one distance one reading and they were also just right. Then the arm on the old ones deided taht safety googles ear muffs and genral dragging of clothing ove he head was just too much. I sen then back again excellent communication and they were returned as good as new except for the bit off the top of the lenses where the 52cc strimmer aimed a stone at my eye strong stuff thye make these lenses from. Well remomened

     I was really surprised at the quality of these glasses. Lighter and better made than a previous pair which cost 5 times as much. And just as well styled. I was also very impressed with the polite and patient service that I received. (Having given insufficient thought to my initial order I had to make a series of changes and needed, therefore, to contact their customer service department)

    I can't see any reason to go anywhere else for specs.

    Oh and I love the case as well. Small, light and no sharp edges.

     I was slightly hesitant about using an on-line glasses store - having worn glasses for 25 years and only ever used the High Street outlets. However, I cannot recommend this Company enough, the glasses were of an equivalent quality (if not better) to all others previously purchased. The service completely exceeded my expectations - my other half lost his prescription sunglasses a week before we were going on holiday - (4 working days). I explained this to the Customer Service Dept and they were made up and sent out special delivery in order that they were received the day before our departure. Without out a doubt we will both be using this Company for ALL future purchases. Well done glasses2you - they definitely go the extra mile.

     I was dubious about buying specs on-line, I have visited the same optician for more years than I care to remember. But I took the plunge and so very glad I did. It really couldn't have been easier and if I can do it anyone can! I am 'over the moon' with my new specs, the thinner lenses make them so light, so pleased with the frames but you know best of all the price! A third cheaper than I would have paid for the same specs at my opticians. Anyone thinking twice that buying specs on-line is impossible I say, just DO IT. This company couldn't be more helpful. I am off now to choose a pair of varifocals.

     I live in Axarquia, Southern Spain and the cost of decent glasses here is prohibitive. There much wider chioce at a reasonable price with glasses2you.co.uk.
