    Please do not use this company if you wish to retain your sanity - one set of blinds were sent without brackets, 1st set were wrong type and they asked me to take a photo of 'wrong brackets' and send it to them so they knew what 'wrong' brackets looked like ! they then sent wrong brackets a second time and would you belive, a 3rd time. the fact they don't like phone calls says it all and they don't offer good delivery times. The chains for blinds are also too flimsy.

    I bought a couple of blinds from this company back in 2006 and they were fine, so when I recently decided to buy a further 7 blinds from then I just assumed they would still be a reliable company. How wrong I was. It took them 6wks to deliver my first order of one blind, as I hadn't wanted to fork out over £600 in one go on blinds that I hadn't seen so thought it a good idea to just get one first. I should have realised from how slow that blind was in being delivered that the company are useless. The order took a month to be delivered and 3 of the blinds were for a bay window so had to all be the same length. One of them is nearly 5ins shorter than the others. Despite phoning the company and emailing them, have heard nothing. Not one single blind seems to be the length that I ordered and they were not cheap blinds as I was careful to order what I thought would be well made quality blinds. Really at a loss at to what to do now.

    Same as lots of the others on here. They are the worst company I've ever ordered from

    timeline:

    initial order placed 28/04/11
    informed me was out of stock 06/05/11 i.e. a whole week later (alarm bells should have started ringing then)
    confirmed amended order to different item (same price) 10/05/11
    requested they expedite delivery to the delay already incurred, they advised they would do all they could
    chased them another whole week later - 17/05/11, they respond saying they will chase with factory.
    chased them again 19/05/11 as still no update, threatened to cancel order
    same day they respond telling me it will be despatched that night and out for delivery the following day, and I'd receive a despatch confimation email
    No confirmation email the next day, chased them again, no response.
    Chased them yesterday, no response
    Chased again today saying I will cancel unless I get despatch confirmation and will take all necessary steps to get my money back
    Finally got a response today 'the stock is faulty, do you want to change the order (AGAIN..)

    Obviously I told them no, refund me and told them what I thought of their company. I will also lodge complaints with trading standards etc

    Sounds like I'm another dissatisfied customer of Blindsuk. I ordered my blind on 8th September and after 4 emails (the only way to communicate) and 4 weeks later my blind is still no where to be seen, they say they will email a tracking number as have never received it. Would not recommend anyone to buy from this company and am now taking steps to get my money back.

    Absolute rubbish that I paid extra for the blind to be delivered by Citylink next day, no one to talk to at Blinds direct (amazing isn't it), spoke with their courier, can't deliver until next Tuesday, wasted £5.00, can't pick up from Warrington Citylink. Something stinks about this company and their courier. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY BREAK PROMISES. Use a real company, I will never use this company again.

    Do not be fooled by the glowing testimonials on their web site.

    Customer service is appalling - all contact must be made via a contact page on the website - you cannot talk to them and you cannot get sales to put you through. Chasing anything up can take several days apparently.

    Note also their delivery which claims to be 7 days but if you read the small print in the terms and conditions is actually 7 working days from the day they take payment.

    I have in the past used 24/7 blinds and wish I had again as this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. If I could rate them zero then I would. A score of 1 is much too generous.

    I have just installed 2 white wooden venetian blinds in my bathroom and they are gorgeous. They arrived on time, all complete and were easy to install. best thing of all is that they look an awful lot more expensive than they were. No, I am not an employee of the company!

    I started getting very worried about my order when i still had no blinds at the end of the 4th working week after i had placed my order, however they did turn up a week later, i had emailed them 4 times and got a responce between 24 and 48hrs later. all in all it took longer than they stated it would but im very pleased with the quality colour etc of the blinds.

    Having made my complaint online, as directed via Blinds UK, I waited 4 days for a response. Finally I called them earlier, & discovered that any option other than Sales will automatically be directed to voicemail.

    Calling again I chose Sales option, & - you guessed it - I got to speak to a real person!

    They told me that my message hadn't been responded to because they are SO busy, but was assured that a member of their Customer Services Dept will get back to me today. I have a sneaking suspicion that if I visited their unit in St Albans I would find the Sales dept & Customer Services to be one & the same!

    I will leave my overall review when I eventually receive a full response from Blinds UK!
