I recently purchased a Mitac Mio A702 PDA from PortaGadgets. Overall, I found the service to be excellent.
I had seen a few forums discussing whther they were legitimate or not, so before I ordered I emailed their UK support at uksales@portagadgets.com. I received a response the same day and found them to be very helpful.
The price was easily the cheapest on the net. Placing the order was fairly easy, although I did have to try twice to get through the checkout and process my creidt card.
I received a FedEx tracking reference withint 48hrs and delivery was 3 days later - so less than a week in total from placing the order. Not as fast as UK based sellers, but a reasonable turnaround from the Far East. The phone was very well packaged and in perfect condition.
I definately recommend them.

bought: A Nokia 7500 Prism mobile phone
I recently purchased a phone from PortaGadgets. I paid via PayPal. Communication was good and they gave me a FedEx tracking number the very next day. The phone arrived 3 days later.
I have always been wary of buying from abroad, but VAT is included in the price, and the item was exactly as described and well packaged. I will definately be shopping there again.
